Founder + CEO

Carolann DeMatos + Frank the Wonderpug

Carolann DeMatos

CAROLANN has a Masters of Science in Digital Imaging & Design from New York University; and a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Communications from Rider University. She has designed with NJ’s Department of Travel & Tourism, Brushfire Inc., Tutor.com, the Edison Innovation Foundation, New Jersey’s Technology Education Association, Gracious Eloise, OpenHouse.org, and AT&T Labs.

Carolann’s life involves graphic design by day, watching her husband make her dinner every night, a lot of reading, an obsession with NCIS, a house full of bright-colored walls, playing with her dog, hanging with the best girlfriends on the planet, and enjoying fashion from afar. She sings in the shower. She loves chocolate, pearls, coffee, Chanel, Frank, the Gilmore Girls, daisies, the Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, strawberries, black & white photography, Colette, Eminem, French music, and laughing. She hates NYC subways, shoveling snow, feet, bad smells, cowardly facebook unfrienders and cilantro.

Frank the Wonderpug

FRANK is 23-pound fawn pug. He loves dingo bones, being scratched on the tushie, carrots, pigs ears, bread crusts, cuddling, chasing spiders and other creepy crawlers, apples without the skin, and sleeping in late. Frank hates pretzels, whenever anyone leaves his house, and snow. Frank farts a lot, but those of us that love him look past that stinky little flaw. Frank is Carolann’s best friend. { More Frank }

Krista Gundersen + Georgia Park

Krista Gundersen

KRISTA double-majored in Broadcast Journalism & Political Communication at Emerson College before obtaining her Juris Doctor (fancy Latin name for a law degree) from Seton Hall University.  She works a big-girl lawyer job at a private non-profit in Manhattan.  Krista is also a member of the Associate Board of Gilda’s Club NYC, a nonprofit organization that provides support to people living with cancer.

In addition to all things fashion- and beauty-related, Krista’s likes include pandas; cooking; eating what she has cooked; working out to compensate for the eating; naps; her book club; the Yankees; musicals; Green Day; Glee; sparkles; pink; anything created by Joss Whedon; and her “puppy” Georgia Park.  She possesses an inordinate amount of obscure and/or useless knowledge that makes her an excellent trivia partner.  Her favorite thing to do is laugh really hard. Krista very much dislikes people who are late, walk slowly, and/or don’t recycle; bad spelling and grammar; poorly applied makeup; chipped nails; lettuce; celery; and the Boston Red Sox.

Georgia Park

GEORGIA PARK is a 57-pound brindle pit bull/lab mix who was adopted as a puppy from a shelter and was named after her Uncle Park from Georgia.  She enjoys cheese, carbs, peanut butter, bacon, napping on her futon, snow, and wrinkly-faced dogs.  She dislikes loud noises, produce, and being in the same room as Krista when baseball is on TV.  Georgia’s most famous and only trick is sitting on her haunches and begging for food, even if no one is eating anything.  Her mortal enemies include all squirrels and some of the dogs that live in her building.
