I have always been super envious of people who can draw. I mean I can doodle, and create patterns, and design abstracts – but actual realism in art, I can not do. And people – I can not draw faces. I think that is why I am so drawn to artists who can truly capture a character and make them come to life – like Jessica Durrant can. Case and point:
According to What I Wore mavin, Jessica Quirk – COUTURE is a lot more than just fancy, custom-made frocks. Now in my mind, couture also normal stands for totally unwearable and fabulously unrealistic. However, allow me to eat my hat because this latest Dior extravaganza is fabulous and I would in fact wear most of these pieces if I was invited to attend a royal ball with Prince Charming. The lines are gorgeous, the silhouettes are stunning, everything is so fabulously feminine and just down-right dramatic. Love lust want!
I love objects that are special, unique and handmade with care. And my new friend, Bridget of All That We Are, likes to take care with her unique creations and really put a little bit of herself in all her jewelry:

Companies should wean you back in, with a welcome back morning brunch and a couple of half-days or delayed openings. If only I ruled the world …
