Portrait of a Professional: Alaskan Accessory Artist Joni Marie of Avalee Jewelry Designs

Portrait of a Professional: Alaskan Jewelry Artist Joni Marie of Avalee Jewelry Ever since my girl Gwyneth sashayed onto the Grammy stage wearing hot pink, feathered earrings while singing her duet with fine-feathered-friend Cee-Lo Green, I have been longing for some feathered accessories of my own. ‘No one,’ I said. ‘I am no one special, just a guest.’

As he tries to flatter me with an ‘everyone is someone’ sentiment, out walks Kristy – down the marble steps of Lincoln Center. I recognize her immediately and say to my new uniformed friend, ‘Now, my friend there, she … she is someone.’
