Edison Concours: Classic Car Show Logo Design + Brand Identity
Over the past several months, I have been working closely with a number of different foundations (the Edison Innovation Foundation, the Llewellyn Park Preservation Foundation, and Thomas Edison National Historic Park Foundation) whom are all working together to form and create a New Jersey-based Auto Concours held at the historic home of Thomas Alva Edison. The show will feature 70 to 80 vintage, expertly-restored cars and comprise of a weekend of parades, demonstrations, and other exciting events. I was asked to assist in branding this event – paying special attention to both the automotive and historical aspects – that, combined, will form this new event and, ultimately, this new brand identity.
The Edison Concours d’Elegance was held on a beautiful day in October 2015, and was lauded by all in attendance as a great success. It was a pleasure to walk around the historic Edison grounds and see the culmination of months of work.
