EmPoWER Somerset 45th Anniversary

In April 2019, I was invited to join the Board of Directors for EmPoWER Somerset, a local Somerset County nonprofit organization.

As a member of the board, I participate by offering marketing and public relations suggestions, as well as lending a hand in the creation of art elements when possible (such as this 45th Anniversary celebratory banner).

The mission of EmPoWER Somerset is to assist individuals and families in making positive lifestyle choices and to promote healthy, drug-free communities through education, collaboration, and connections to resources. EmPoWER Somerset serves individuals from preschool to retirement through a diverse range of school and community programs that are evidence-based with documented success in enhancing positive life skills and healthy choices.

On February 26, 2019, the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Somerset presented a ceremonial resolution honoring EmPoWER Somerset’s 45 years of service to the community.
